As the world is entering into the green revolution phase, India too seems to take the initiative seriously. The new electric bike developed by Polaris Industries is going be launched under the Indian Motorcycle brand names. The upcoming bike is all set to replace the old Victory Empulse TT bike. The electric bike is still going to take another four to five years to be launched globally as it is in still in the final development stage and has to undergo a number of development processes.
The new electric bike is expected to not only make the ride a fun and delightful but also a powertrain ride. The eco-friendly bike mainly aims to provide the user with a comfortable ride along the twist and turns and a quality ride for long distances. The company has provided the bike with an approximate range of 200–220 Km, that is, about 120–140 Miles coverage that too in a single full charge. It is obviously a better option when compared to the 75 Miles Empulse bike. The shutting down of the brand Victory will help the double ranged electric bike to accelerate the sales in the global market.
American giant has thought about bringing the electric bike into the market mainly to help conserve fuel which in turn helps control the emission rate and the global greenhouse gas warming. The battery-driven bike is going to make a buzz in the Indian market for sure.
Since there is still time for the bike’s launch, it is hard to say whether the bike is going to be made available on a large scale or just in a limited edition.
The big question is about its arrival in India.
